In the state of Wisconsin, we experience this frosty thing called winter every year. It’s true. It starts off beautiful, with trees turning gorgeous reds, yellows, and orange. Then the pumpkin spice craze comes out. Bonfires rule the weekends and snuggling up with loved ones in the early cool mornings. Then comes the snow. And ice. And below zero days. If you don’t want to go outside to play, how are you supposed to buy or sell your home?
Plain and simple: Less competition and higher motivation. And this is for both sides, the homes buyers and the home sellers.
I have personally sold homes over the Thanksgiving holidays, and even the day before New Years Eve. People still need to buy homes in the fall and winter, and people still need to sell homes in the fall and winter even in Green Bay, WI. And with mortgage rates still low, now is a great time to buy or sell. The Green Bay housing market is still strong.
